Famous for massive elephant herds and iconic baobab trees, Tarangire National Park is one of Tanzania’s most scenic safari destinations, offering rich wildlife and authentic wilderness experiences.

Overview

Tarangire National Park covers about 2,850 km² and is located in northern Tanzania. It is known for its seasonal Tarangire River which attracts large concentrations of wildlife during the dry season, creating one of the best game viewing experiences in East Africa.
